Founded in 1977, Drakes remains under the directorship of Michael Drake and Isabel Dickson, two of the original founders. Having begun with a collection of men's scarves and accessories, a collection of English handmade ties and handkerchiefs quickly followed. Drakes is now the largest independent producer of handmade ties in England and exports accessories all over the world to the very finest stores, both high fashion and traditional, many of whom have been customers since the beginning.
Drakes ties continue to be entirely handmade in the heart of London, carefully adhering to the traditions and knowledge built up over thirty years of striving for excellence.
